How to Make Your Own DIY Wall Hanging Planter.
This is a great way to utilize small space and bring some greenery into your home or outdoor area.
For the indoor planter, I used glass jars and clamps to create a hanging planter with no drainage. I used three quarter inch screws and one and a quarter inch screws, a screwdriver, and one by four window trim for a nice look. I placed the one by fours depending on how I wanted my planter to look, making sure they were equidistant in all directions. Then, I flipped it over and put some screws in from the back. Next, I installed the clamps using smaller screws so that they wouldn't come out on the other side. Finally, I added water to the jars and some herb cuttings, and the wall hanging planter was ready to serve its purpose.
For the outdoor planter, I used two by fours, one by six fence pickets, and one-liter plastic pots. I arranged them in the way I wanted my wall planter to look like, making sure they were equidistant and spaced equally. Then, I screwed them in place, using two screws on the top to fix the planters in place. I hung the planter on the wall using screws, and it was ready to be filled with potting soil.
This is a great way to keep your herbs fresh or even propagate your plants from cuttings. If you're interested in the products I used, I'll leave a link in the description of this post. This wall hanging planter is perfect for a south-facing wall for full sun or a shaded area to grow shade-loving plants such as basil and mint.
